Bio:
The highly rated vocalist JORN LANDE has a vocal capability that is world class, distinctive, rich and spanning a large range. He is considered to be one of the world's best classic rock singers and therefore the man is in high demand. His main band is MASTERPLAN, consisting of the two ex-Helloween members Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch in addition to Jan S. Eckert on bass and Axel Mackenroth on keyboards. Due to the huge success of MASTERPLAN after releasing the debut album "Masterplan" in early 2003, the band was constantly on tour throughout the world and basically performed on every continent. The successor album is roughly scheduled for autumn this year.

But let us have a look back to what has happened in the last couple of years: JORN has been busy throughout all those years and has meanwhile 10 - 15 releases to present. He has earned credits and made himself a name in several bands and projects, not only because of his unique vocal abilities, but also as a professional and strong songwriter. Among these bands/projects are Vagabond, Mundanus Imperium, The Snakes (with Bernie Marsden and Mickey Moody of Whitesnake and Don Airey of Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne and Deep Purple), Millennium, Beyond Twilight, Nostradamus (the rock opera - also featuring a.o. Joe Lynn-Turner, Alannah Myles, Glenn Hughes) and ARK. But on top of that, he received as well much credit and press around his two previous solo albums released under his own name: JORN "Starfire" and JORN "Worldchanger".

Coming back to the current days - this busy bee has started to settle down and to concentrate mostly on MASTERPLAN and his own solo carrier.

JORN signed a new and long-term solo deal with AFM Records and just delivered the first output "Out To Every Nation". Musicians on this opus include bassist Magnus Rosèn of Hammerfall, alongside the Pagan's Mind pairing of guitarist Jørn Viggo Lofstad and drummer Stian Kristoffersen. The album was released on April 26, 2004.

Along with this new solo album there was also a video clip available for the song "Living With Wolves". This video was recorded in historical surroundings at Vemork, an early 19th century electrochemical processing plant that produced heavy water during world war II and was the scene of sabotage plots to prevent the German Nazi's from using the heavy water for nuclear bombs. Today the plant is a museum. Vemork is located in JORN's birth place, the city of Rjukan in the county of Telemark, Norway.
